Members of the Los Angeles Chapter of the NBRPA, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Norm Nixon, Sam Williams, and Harold “Lefty” Williams, attended the LA premiere of “Sweetwater” on April 11. The film spotlights the inspiring story of Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton, the first African American basketball player to sign an NBA contract.
