On Saturday, May 20, the NBRPA National Office and the Chicago Chapter of the NBRPA hosted a Full Court Press clinic at the CSO Multiplex in Hyde Park, Chicago. NBA Legends Kenny Battle, Bobby Simmons, and NBRPA Board Member Shawn Marion led an afternoon of basketball skills challenges and inspirational life conversations with local youth from Chicago-based nonprofits ABC Pilsen and Rainbow PUSH Coalition. The latter organization was founded by Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., who stopped by during the clinic to cheer on the coaches and young players connecting over their love of community ties and competitive hoops.
