The 2022 Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase took place on July 26 and was the second in league history. This year’s incentives, in addition to bragging rights and the trophy, included accumulating donation dollars presented to the organization of each team’s choosing at the conclusion of the Commissioner’s Cup. In a competitive battle, WNBA Legend and head coach of the Las Vegas Aces Becky Hammon led her team to a 93-83 victory over the Chicago Sky. Fellow WNBA Legend Dawn Staley served as a TV analyst for the game alongside Sarah Kustok and Michael Grady.
